8 Design Tips: How to decorate your home with florals

At the beginning of 2020, I stayed at the Hotel Bienvenue in Paris, France.

From the moment I arrived, I began to fall in love with all things botanical and floral.

Chloé Nègre, the french interior designer did an amazing job with the hotel design by creating space(s) that feel like modern day Paris but with beautiful displays of floral pattern and pastels.

I loved the bold, blue color in our bedroom and couldn't help but adore the small floral artwork. In comparison to the room itself the artwork was small but impactful.

The floral curtain in another bedroom was exciting, fresh and chic! The scale of floral pattern was perfectly suited for the size of the room as well. Florals often juxtapose well with stripes as you see on the floor. This is a classic combination but with uplifting modern colors.

If you are someone who does not want to wrap an entire room or home in floral wallpaper then these small design elements may suit you instead!

Hotel Bienvenue was this effortlessly, romantic setting where I felt like I could rest and relax after hours exploring the city but still comfortably enjoy the beauty of Parisian style while indoors.

I am always looking for unique ways to incorporate florals and botanicals into my client's projects, therefore, I have put together a list of 8 budget-friendly, unique floral decor items that I am admiring.

I have an appreciation for all interior design periods and styles, therefore, all 8 floral decor items reflect that diversity.
