Cheekis Culture Philosophy

Updated: Apr 15

What is Cheekis Culture? More importantly, why is Cheekis Culture important to me?

I focus on the big three:

1. Travel

2. Personal Connections

3. Experiences

I have been living as an expat for 5 years. In this short amount of time I can’t even put into words how much I feel like I have grown as a person. My understanding of art, language, religion and community has evolved. Culture is an invisible bond that ties people, however, it is all about human activity and attitude.

You only live once so add meaning to your life. Embrace a new culture, explore a new part of town or city, speak outside your typical social circle and have fun ... but, experience it for you. Make your own memories.

Sometimes a person needs a little encouragement or support so that’s what I hope “Cheekis Culture,” evolves into. A platform of international communication, encouragement, adventure and experience.

Over time, living as an expat, I have learned to be more mindful with my words and really consider what I value which is travel, learning from others and experiencing life in different parts of the world.
