Kenilworth Residence

The Client
He is a talented Architect and she is a worldly Professor living in Chicago. The couple share a love of modern style and mid century furniture. Embracing their style while still maintaining a functional space for their two young children was important.
Inspiration
Modern, clean lines and cool grey tones were the backdrop behind highlighting a collection of mid century furniture and walnut woodwork. I wanted to create a calm and refreshing environment for a busy family of four to reside.
Project
The scope of work included cosmetic redesign. The entire first floor, second floor bathroom and kitchen cabinets were repainted. A mid century inspired floral wallpaper was added to their entry as well as in their open dining room to add personality and pattern. Light fixtures and soft furnishing were placed throughout the first floor to coordinate with the home's existing furniture.
